Hi, I'm Zach. I created this journal partially through the coaxing of my friend Jen, partially because I was bored, and partially because I want people to see what I have to say.

First, the basics. I'm 18 years old, and I go to Village Glen High School, with a dual enrollment at Los Angeles Valley College. I was born in Chicago but moved to L.A. when I was a baby, so this is really my hometown, I suppose. I have a happily married mom and dad named Donna and Reid, an annoying little sister named Hilary, and two adorable cats named Sofie and Rocky. My dad is a visual effects producer for Stargate Studios, and my mom is a paralegal. Me? I volunteer at the Los Angeles Public Library: Platt Branch, once a week. I'm hoping to get a job in the next few weeks though.

Anyways, even though I'm still a senior in high school, I take college classes. I plan on double majoring in history and anthropology. I LOVE all things history. I also plan on minoring in philosophy and political science. I want to put my knowledge to use and become either a diplomat or politician. But in case that doesn't work out, I'm also interested in learning, teaching, and writing.

I love music. The music I like can best be described as...well, old. It's either old or has an old feel to it. I love classical (Mozart is my favorite), soundtracks, and new age music. I also like some classic rock and celtic music.

I post frequently on two message boards, known as Teh Nook and The Jedi Council, the latter being on TheForce.net I also got a facebook just yesterday, also because of Jen. >_>
